Had mine since beginning of 2016 and it still performs like new. This thing is a true gem. I plan on keeping it for as long ass possible. It perfectly compliments the new iPad Pro daily driver set ups people are starting to migrate to.
I’d also like to add they go perfect w/ my iPhone X that I use with the smart charging case apple created that integrates perfectly and doubles battery life. They retail for $130, but you can pick up an open box one from Best Buy or eBay for $50-$60 like I did. It’s so good that I’ve ordered another just for back up.

No joke, this MacBook 13" 128GB (which I purchased in early 2015) is still the best investment (comparing any other tech gadget, laptop or etc.) that I have made. I have been using it as my daily driver forever (right now 2019 July and still using) and it didn't get any worse than when I purchased it. Battery is amazing, lasts the entire day. Speakers – are damn really good, keyboard – the best one in the market, sad Apple switched to that (I hate it) butterfly keyboard. It also features a huge trackpad (that supports gestures) and full backlight. Screen is also really good and sharp. Good color recreation and high brightness. Device itself is thin, feels lightweight and has enough port (2x USB 3.0, MagSafe magnetic charger, 3.5mm audio jack, SD card slot and Thunderbolt 2). The camera? Well, it is really good quality webcam, the only downside is fps. By that said, I recommend for you to take 256GB version, because 128GB seems a bit too small. Also, best part (thank you Apple), it's still supported by all of the latest macOS updates.

Buy m.2 ssd adapter and buy a Samsung 970 evo ssd. Very fast I my 2017 MacBook Air and cheaper then buying an apple type ssd.

Hi Dan, in your opinion is the 2015 macbook air sluggish or p responsive? I just bought a used air 2015 for a good deal with great conditions, but having migrating from i7 hp elitebook laptops, I felt this machine is so slow. I just want to hear from another user, is this thing slower than it should or it is what it is? I'm rocking high sierra on i5, 256gb, 8gb ram macbook air early 2015.

just updated mine to MacOS Mojave – black looks is Great . I must say the 256GB SSD is a whole lot faster then the 128GB version
1100mb/s and 450mb/s respectively. Faster drive really helps with Photoshop and other Larger apps.
